Linarco Rodriguez is a third-generation coffee farmer from Palestina, Huila in Colombia. After inheriting land from his parents in 2014, he began working independently as a producer. Linarco was involved in farm work from a young age, developing a deep understanding of cultivation and processing. Today, he manages his family’s farm San Gabriel, where fertile soil and high elevation provide ideal conditions for producing distinctive coffees. Alongside his own production, Linarco also supports neighboring producers with processing and shares his expertise through ongoing collaboration and experimentation.
This lot is a Bourbon Sidra, a variety known for its complex and expressive profile. Grown at elevations between 1,700 and 1,900 meters above sea level, where cooler climate allows for slow cherry maturation and greater complexity in the cup. The coffee is naturally processed at the farm, with careful drying techniques to enhance the sweetness. The result is a rich and sweet cup with notes of cherries and grapes, accompanied by a delicate nutty note of almonds.
