Refund policy
Returns
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened, unworn, unused in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To initiate a return, please contact us at info@sangoamsterdam.com with the following information:
• Your order number
• Details of the item(s) you wish to return
• The reason for the return
Please note that all returns must be sent to the following address: Stromarkt 15, 1012SW, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Please note that items sent back to us without prior request and approval will not be accepted.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund, via email. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note: it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 days have passed since we have approved your refund, please contact us at info@sangoamsterdam.com.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrectly delivered.
We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon receipt. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days upon receiving the item, and we will promptly offer a replacement or process your refund.
Exchanges
We do not process exchanges. If you wish to purchase a different item, please submit a return request for the original order (where eligible) and place a new order separately.
Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:
- Opened coffee bags, worn merchandise, and used accessories cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- Custom orders (such as grounded coffee) cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- Sale items and gift cards are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
European Union 14 Day Cooling Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unopened, unused, and in its original packaging, accompanied by proof of purchase.
