This microlot coffee is produced by Norbey José Quimbayo and his wife on their farm, La Esmeralda, located in Acevedo, southern Huila, Colombia. The region is also known as the Coffee Capital of Colombia, where the combination of rich volcanic soil and ideal climate contributes to high quality coffee. Norbey’s continued efforts in improving his technique in coffee processing has placed this harvest in second place in the Huila Mágico Competition, a contest organized by The Coffee Quest. You can expect notes of sweet and juicy passion fruit, strawberry, and refreshing acidity of lemon from this exceptional cup.
